UMC-Pass
UMC-Pass
Every UMC Utrecht employee receives a UMC Utrecht pass on the first work day. This also applies to employees with a short-term contract or on-call workers, students, interns, volunteers or trainees who work continuously for more than three weeks at UMC Utrecht. Anyone who has a UMC Utrecht pass must wear it visibly and show it at the request of a Security officer. The UMC Utrecht pass is personal and may not be used for purposes other than personal use.
The UMC Utrecht pass has various functions:
- Identification;
- Access to car parks and bicycle parking facilities (access to parking garages for reduced rates only for employees with a paid appointment);
- Access to a number of general areas and a few entrances and exits;
- Access to scrubs dispensers;
- Use of follow-me printers
On your first work day, you can go to the Facility Service Center (FSC) to have your UMC Utrecht pass made. You will have to identify yourself with a passport or an identity card. A driver's license does not suffice. The photo on your passport or identity card will be used for the UMC Utrecht pass. When leaving employment with UMC Utrecht, you will have to return the UMC Utrecht pass to the FSC.
